In conclusion, this investigation sought to identify the advantages and setbacks of utilizing SIB in Khuzestan Province's health centers, Iran.
Employing qualitative conventional content analysis, this study explored the perspectives of 6 experts and 24 SIB users at six health centers distributed across three cities within Khuzestan province, Iran. Participants were chosen employing a purposeful sampling strategy. The group of users was selected with maximum variation in mind, and snowball sampling was adopted to select the experts. Data collection was accomplished through the use of a semi-structured interview. Data analysis procedures included the application of thematic analysis.
Extracted from the interview data were 42 components, specifically 24 focused on advantages and 18 on difficulties. Benefits and difficulties were investigated to identify repeating themes and sub-themes. The components' analysis yielded 12 sub-themes, organized under three main themes: structure, process, and outcome.
The current research explored the advantages and obstacles associated with SIB adoption, categorized into three key themes: structure, process, and outcome. The majority of the observed benefits could be attributed to the outcome theme, and a large number of the detected challenges centered on the structural theme. A more effective institutionalization and application of SIB in resolving health problems is attainable through the identified factors, contingent upon augmenting its advantages and lessening its inherent obstacles.
